Dr. Yanbao Yu is the Director of Proteomics and a joint Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Delaware (Newark, DE). He brings over twenty years of hands-on experience in LC/MS, with a primary research focus on LCMS-based method development for proteomics analysis and biomedicine studies. While he has authored nearly 100 peer-reviewed articles, his work extends beyond the lab into practical industry applications. He pioneered a patent-pending methodology for universal proteomics sample preparation, which was recently commercialized as E3 and E4 technology by CDS Analytical (Oxford, PA). In this seminar, he will discuss novel applications of miniaturized chromatographic separation techniques for mass spectrometric analysis of large molecules, such as peptides and proteins.
