Paul Haddad
Prof. Paul Haddad has obtained the degrees of BSc, PhD and DSc from the University of New South Wales. He is currently an Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at the University of Tasmania, Australia. He was Foundation Director of the Australian Centre for Research on Separation Science, and Director of the Pfizer Analytical Research Centre. His research interests cover most areas of the theory and practice of liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis, with a particular emphasis on ion chromatography. He has more than 550 publications and 3 books in these areas and has presented more than 700 papers at local and international scientific meetings. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. Prof. Haddad is the recipient of a number of international awards, including the ACS Chromatography Award, the AJP Martin Gold Medal awarded by the Chromatographic Society, the Marcel Golay Award, the CASSS Award, the LC-GC Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Royal Society of Chemistry Analytical Separation Methods Award.
