Katherine Lainhart is a member of the analytical group within the Chemistry Process Development department at Bristol-Myers Squibb, focusing on method development for APIs, starting materials, intermediates and in-process controls within the drug substance space and development of the overall drug substance analytical control strategy. She received her B.S. in Chemistry and B.A. in Classical Studies from Virginia Tech and her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, under the direction of Royce W. Murray. Previously, Katherine had been at Celgene Corporation in the drug substance and drug product analytical methods development group, prior to joining the process analytical group.
