About
Kaitlin Grinias
Kaitlin received her B.S. in Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University and her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently employed as a High Throughput Automation Scientist in GlaxoSmithKline’s Department of Product Development and Supply. There she designs, implements and validates automation protocols that focus on developing a better understanding of the physicochemical properties of GSK therapeutic candidates. She is an active member of the global Chromatography Technology Network at GSK. Previously, she served as a project lead for the analytical development of novel active pharmaceutical ingredients. Dr. Grinias’ graduate research on ultrahigh pressure liquid chromatography in the field of proteomics led to her to being named a finalist for the Csaba Horváth Young Scientist award at the HPLC Conference, a top award for young researchers in the field.
