David Kohler graduated in 1976 from Colorado State University. He received his degrees in Chemistry and Marketing.

David began his career in 1976 as the sales and marketing director of ES Industries, West Berlin, NJ. In 1992 David began working as Vice President of ES Industries. Since 2004, he has been working as President of ES Industries.

David has been involved with marketing and selling HPLC, GC and SFC instrumentation and chromatography column chemistries for over 40 years. In this capacity, David traveled internationally and worked with a number of chromatographic distributors and instrument companies.

He has served on the both the CFDV and NJCDG board for over 25 years and is currently the treasurer of the NJCDG committee.
