Constantinos Pistos

Dr. Pistos completed his undergraduate degree in pharmacy from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, before he obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in pharmaceutical analysis and quality control of drugs in Athens, Greece. He then received a postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Georgia Athens, in the U.S.A., before returning to Greece and serving as director of a private CRO pharmaceutical company. Between 2006 and 2015, he served as a faculty member of forensic Toxicology at the School of Medicine of the University of Athens, where he also served at various levels of Quality Assurance Manager of the accredited forensic toxicology lab. Since 2015, Dr. Pistos is a faculty member of forensic toxicology at the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He has published 58 articles and four book chapters while he presented 35 research works in meetings, all in the fields of forensic toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmaceutical analysis. He is a member of The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT), the Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientist (NEAFS), and the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT), for which he also serves as member of its Alternative Sampling Committee.
